My experience with hands-on training was exceptionally good and very helpful. All the trainers were very helpful and motivating. They helped me boost my confidence and added on to my knowledge. The OT staff was very welcoming and helpful in all aspects, right from pre-operative to post-op. I am very glad to have performed the hands-on training.

Dear Dr. Haldipurkar,

Thank you so much for my outstanding experience at the Laxmi Eye Institute!! During my stay I felt very welcome and at home, even already after a short period of time. Everybody of the exceptional staff tried to fulfill all of my wishes regarding ophthalmology as well as questions of daily life and made me feel being part of the Laxmi family. I was impressed by the quality of the technical equipment, the accurateness of medical investigations, the variety of subspecialities and the competence and effectiveness of the work of the entire team.

When you come to a different country, you never really know what to expect, but in your Laxmi eye institute, which is known far beyond the borders of India, I found the nicest, most affectionate and hard working people and staff combined with the highest quality of the medical service and a respectful interaction among the colleagues and towards the patients. Coming from a university where teaching and research play an important role, it was especially impressive and extraordinary for me to see the high standard of academical education of the residents and consultants including the weekly journal club in the morning conference as well as the presence at major national and international congresses actively participating in instruction courses, live surgeries and paper sessions, for example at the annual conference of the Maharashtra Ophthalmological Society in Nagpur, which I was fortunate to attend.

I was also overwhelmed by the grand social commitment in terms of charitable work of the Laxmi Charitable Trust to provide ophthalmological facilities to the poor.

Regarding my phaco hands on training I`m very grateful that I could learn under your and Dr. Vijay Shetty's supervision and guidance. Besides your excellent surgical experience, you also have a very confiding and encouraging way of teaching. I also want to point out that I did not notice any negative organizational or ophthalmological aspects that could be mentioned or improved. Maybe you need a bit more room for examining and treating those huge numbers of patients.

Dear Dr. Haldipurkar, I thank you and everyone of your outstanding team again for all your efforts, generous hospitality and for sharing your time, expertise and skills with me to make my stay at the Laxmi Eye institute most fruitful, a lot of fun and an extraordinary experience.

With best regards and wishes for a successful future and deepest gratitude,
